The Goderich Regional Airport is located along the shores of Lake Huron, just a 3 minute drive from the Downtown Goderich. Goderich’s natural setting along Ontario’s West Coast provides an incredible number of recreation and leisure choices. Some of the areas visually–appealing trails criss–cross and surround Goderich, offering breathtaking views of nature and a window to our past with many heritage sites marked along the way. Explore our many parks as more than one quarter of the land in Goderich is dedicated to parkland, many overlooking Lake Huron. Stroll through the Town’s tree–lined streets and enjoy the pride people take in the preservation of local architecture. The Town has a rich and colourful history, celebrated in its museums and destinations of historical interest. Goderich is well known for its distinctive downtown, an octagonal core known as The Square, where streets radiate from the centre of Town, Courthouse Park.

Goderich’s three beautiful beaches are a must–see. The 1.8 kilometre boardwalk is over 10 feet wide and runs along the waterfront passing by all of the beautiful waterfront and also making this area accessible to all. Picnic shelters, playgrounds, and public washrooms are all available along these beaches and are the perfect location for a day trip. From late spring to early fall the Beach Hut and The Cove have treats and snacks to fulfill your tummies needs. The picturesque Beach Street Station restaurant is located just across from Main Beach and has some pretty amazing history itself. It was built in 1907 as a Canadian Pacific Railway Station and was moved over 100 feet from its original location in 2013 and was restored and open in 2015! Their menu showcases local food and drink with a wide selection for every appetite. You can be sure to catch our famous sunsets from all the beaches or any of our 13 viewpoint parks at the top of the bluff. The beach is accessible by road, foot and bike with staircases extending from the Lighthouse Park, Sunset Park and Rotary Cove, allowing you to see the sunset twice if you climb quickly enough!
